Case study on a farm steading development on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
Air pressure testing and consultation services were provided for a customer in Edinburgh.
On this steading development we were initially contracted to provide advice on air tightness and the best way to achieving this for the developer and builder to go forward with their future developments on this site.
We have now carried out testing on three of their steading conversions and all three have come in the region of 5-7m3/hm2.
They have achieved these results by building a whole new timber frame house on the inside of the existing stone walls.
